By trade I am a boxing coach who has an established professional and amateur coaching career. Additionally I have coached U.S. National Golden Glove, Ringside National Tournament, National PAL Tournament, Black Gloves National Tournament, Silver Gloves and Junior Olympic National “champions.” However, most recently I have committed a great deal of time and energy training Team Murcielago members within the field of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) including past and present fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as well as the WEC and other MMA organizations.

On November 5, 2005 "Sugar" Rashad Evans won Spike TV's Season 2 Ultimate Fighter Heavyweight Championship contest by decision. Collectively we created a winning fight plan that shocked the Ultimate Fighting Championship world. Despite obvious physical odds, Rashad committed himself to fifteen intense minutes of battle. Henceforth many of the live 2.6 million viewers would agree that the event was one of the best UFC contests to date. Ultimately Rashad was awarded the victory and is now part of an elite group of fighters with an Ultimate Fighting Championship six figure contract. Rashad left Team Murcielago after his victory over Michael Bisping on November 17th of 2007, but we are proud of his improvement from his time with Team Murcielago and wish him continued success in the UFC.

Since its summer 2005 launch, Team Murcielago has experienced phenomenal growth because of excellent business partnerships.
